I am passionate about loving people and helping individuals and families find hope and healing through the therapy experience.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), as well as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University (2000) and my master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University (2005).
I’ve been a therapist in community mental health since 2005, and prior to being a therapist, worked as a home-based case manager with families and children as well as a counselor at a therapeutic boarding school.
I have done extensive work with individuals struggling with addiction and other destructive behaviors, as well as depression, anxiety, and other mental health and co-occurring disorders both in individual therapy and in groups. I love utilizing mindfulness-based practices (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help clients experience life change.
Out of the office, I love making memories and creating new experiences with my two daughters, meeting friends for coffee, growing personally and spiritually, and serving in my local church.
